Fernando Bergamaschi is a Brazilian graphic designer, photographer and illustrator with a strong ecological view about the techniques and materials used in his profession. It is his responsibility to be aware of the effects as well as be able to inform his clients about the choices they have.

Sustainability means assuring the long-term survival of our planet by conserving and caring for its resources rather than depleting or permanently damaging them. Companies which do not respect the environment will not be seen very well by their consumers and this negative image will be costly in the long run.

DesigndeImagem support the use of paper from GREEN-E manufactures that use renewable energy in production. Process Chlorine Free (PCF) paper with fewer polluting emission. Recycled paper products to reduce the pressure on forests and landfills. Use vegetable based inks with low VOC components. Favor the use of digital process, in appropriate sizes, to “print on demand" and use less paper minimizing the amount of waste and reduce stockpiles of obsolete printed materials.
